Aura Empowerment Reiki is a powerful tool for healers to protect their aura during healing energy treatments, for people working in the medical profession as well as for individuals who are involved in public work and are often surrounded by the large public. It is also very beneficial for people whose daily lives are characterized by an environment with difficult interpersonal relationships, for instance, problematic work environments and for children whose energy field is still very open to outside vibrations and needs protection as well as for sensitive children and indigo children. What happens is that through our aura, we “absorb” energy vibrations from our surroundings and if these vibrations are negative, then our whole being is affected, and our energy levels drop thereby affecting our emotional and physical state. In ancient traditional Ayurvedic medicine, it was believed that all illnesses had its roots in the negative or ill-making vibrations coming from the environment and hence many different rituals were celebrated to strengthen the aura and thereby the chakra system, since the chakra colours and energies emanate to our aura and vice versa. It was believed that aura empowerment could ward off ill-spirited energies and prevent people from getting ill.
